These paintings were an extension of photographs that I had taken back in 2019 when my life was in a state of flux. This was the first time I started documenting myself and since then I’ve been thinking about ‘perception’ and the distorted ways in which we view ourselves. I also keep exploring the term ‘reflection’ itself, the fact that it is constantly changing.

To this day, I document myself in distorted mirrors and hope to keep painting more variations of these reflections.
